Tin/Lithium

Just got back a set of results.

Tin (Sn) 2.29 μg/l
Lithium (Li) 262.00 μg/l

It recommends to carry out 6 x 15% water changes with TRITON PURE 2.0 salt, spread over 6 weeks.

I'm wondering, will the use of Carbon / AL99 or GFO reduce these? Trying to avoid water changes :)

Lithium will come down naturally with consumption as long as you are not adding it any more with contaminated salts. Tin will also come down naturally to some extent but can be more harmful to your tank inhabitants than Lithium so would be better to get rid of it sooner rather than later.

Are my current Tin Levels a concern? I've been testing with Triton for over a year, never had a Tin issue. The only thing i did recently add was a marinepure Block, which I've read leaches Al , but my Al level has actually come down since my last tests. Any reports of those blocks leaching Tin?
