Its so small i cant get a picture of it with my P&S camera. Its zoanthid shaped, but about 1/4 the size of your typical zoa. Dark green outer, with a brilliant white "eye" on the inside. They are popping up all over my tank at work, i was shocked to see them in there since the whole tank was pretty much nuked by an errant pesticide spray a month ago.

Cliffs:
Macro algae
Circular shaped
Dark green outer, white inner
About 1/8" diameter
1/4" tall
Grows like zoas (mat like)

Any ideas?

TTT, any one got another idea? They are growing quite fast, i have about 10 new heads today since Thursday!

I know what you are talking about, I had a few of them not long after setting up my tank. There population went down rather quickly though, and haven't seen any since.

do you have any pics?

Check this site, it might help you.
Caribbean Reefs - Brown Algae - Green Algae - Red Algae

Thanks for the help guys, so far the closest match is this:

Green Mermaid's Wine Glass - Acetabularia calyculus - Green Algae - - Caribbean Reefs

But like i said above, quite different.

Its so small my P&S camera wont focus on it. I stuck a ruler in there today to get a better idea, and they are actually closer to 1/16"-1/8" in diameter. Growth seems to be steady, i see a whole new patch since last week. My dad has a nice DSLR, but it will be awhile before i can get it in to work with a tripod as well.
