Hello everyone, thought I might share my tank with people who are actually interested instead of everyone else in my life who think Im coo coo lol.

So far all I have upgraded is the lighting, and I added a light to the back for a fuge.

Ill just post a bunch of pictures to get you guys caught up.

They are a bit out of date. I attatched most of my frags to the rocks yesterday and have yet to photograph them yet.

Look at all those frags! Great pics and awesome color. If you don’t mind me asking what was your light upgrade? And what makes ur system tick (filtration, dosing,etc.)? Id love to hear it

I went with the steves LEDs upgrade with the iridescence booster and mini bluefish controller. It is pretty sweet, I really like it.

Until the need arrises to change it, filtration is just the cartridge filters that I rinse weekly and change out every month. Below that is chaeto and a bit of rubble.

No dosing needed yet, I do a weekly 10 gallon water change. Seems to keep up at least for now.

Wow! Interesting to hear about the no dosing. How are ur phosphates and nitrates? And does the refugium grow well for you? I took mine out because I didnt see any growth.

Phosphates around .04ish
Nitrates around 5

The chaeto died at first, but I replaced it and it is growing now, ive had to thin it out a few times.

Well, yesterday I had to move the mummy eye and miami vice chalice. They were starting to bleach out, Im assuming because of the new LEDs. I am still slowly turning them up 1% a day and am currently at 45%.
I took PAR readings with my seneye and was getting 140 at the miami and 143 at the mummy eye.

Ive heard of ppl keeping chalices much higher then this with good results but apparently mine dont like it much.

What is everyone elses experience with chalice par levels?
