To much flow? Is there really such a thing?

I have a standard 20 gallon tank, i have two tunzes 6025s for flow in the tank, is this to much flow? i plan on houseing everything in the tank from sps to softies. Lighting is going to be a single 250w DE MH

Too much flow is when it is blowing the flesh off of your corals or you cant see the corals because of the sand storm.

too much direct flow is possible... too much total flow ... not really. I run an mp40 on my 40 breeder full out, and still have a few koralia nanos behind the rock. And all my sand is still in place... mostly.

hahah cool thanks for the advice the two 6025s are at the top of the tank aimed up the water is really rippled and its not direct towards the frag rack at all

Same here. however, my sand did get blown away in one spot. :angel:
I think there can be too much direct flow. Your corals will tell you if there is too much flow.
