To Quarantine Invertebrates?

Is there any reason to quarantine invertebrates? If so, how can you do so without starving them? Thanks in advanced.

Personally, i dont. Its one of those things that I always think "ohhhh i should really be doing this" but nothing bad has happened so I dont actually set up a qt tank.
