Toadstool babies..

Is it possible for a regular toadstool to spawn a fancy toadstool?

I harvested three babies from under my toadstools canopy..one of them appears to be the fancier kind with the extra little fluff at the end of the tentacles...like this:

Didn't know if I could expect those to go away as it grows since the other two aren't like that... or if this was normal to have one that is fancy from one that isn't...

I would expect a bud to be exactly like the parent colony.....I wouldn't think so...

Mine did the same thing... I think that is what the "babies" look like!!

Well two of them look just like the parent..the third one looks different..I'll have to get a photo this week....getting a new camera tomorrow..tried ordering it from dell..but it was on backorder til after my vacation starts..so I cancelled the order...

They should all look the same as the parent colony. I wish we could grow our own variations.

I love that coral. I have one that i recieved as a frag its a green fancy toadstool. In a month or so it might be ready to be fragged itself.
