My toadstool used to stand up tall, but now it’s stalk is almost horizontal. We haven’t made any changes to the tank, and have had the toadstool since it’s head was about the size of an egg. Is it too top

heavy? Not enough light? Too close to the xenia?

I would say its either reaching for flow or light. From the picture, flow would be my guess. I wouldnt completely rule out that its leaning AWAY from something, but if it is, I doubt its the Xenia.

Its not leaning. Is growing toward flow and light. I have devils hand that is growing out sideways like yours. Nothing to be really worried about

They tend to do this, but after 2 hors or more of light generally erect.
What is tank salinity and temperature?
Moderate light and flow fits their needs and also iron in their water

the only thing behind it really is the Xenia, and we don’t really have many angry corals, just one LPS, gorgonian, and the rest are soft corals or polyps.

I will try adjusting the flow so it gets more. We have struggles in the bio cube with getting the flow to all areas of the tank:rolleyes:

I just checked temp and salinity: 1.025 and 80.4 via Hannah salinity tester. We do not diss any chemicals, but do weekly water changes. We do add reef roofs and phyto occasionally. It stays like this all day.

Tried to add video to see flow.

Increase blue brightness and decrease white brightness a little and see how it responds

I see video and this is a weeping willow toadstool and it may do this As they are rarely standing tall

Mine as been doing the leaning ever since I put into my tank
