Can anyone tell me why toadstool is turning white.

All perams are fine I checked this morning and all other corals are thriving.

Decently mid flow as well as about 180 par which it was in before for a while and happy.

So, leathers are interesting in the coral world, they will retract all of their polyps, and basically shed the top layer of 'skin' in a waxy layer. Then they return to normal. This helps them clean themselves and stay healthy. Here is more info, but I don't know the source too well.

In my experience, yes, these coral will slough or shed their outer layer. Overall, these animals are quite hardy, I'd give yours some more time to bounce back 🙂

Good luck!
