How much flow does a torch coral actually need?

Whenever I see them In the fish shop they never seem to move to much, but in my tank even with 1 wave maker going ( other 2 turned off as everything just gets blasted) they are all over the place.

Is it best if they are just slowly bouncing around?

i don't believe LFS it's a reference... i don't think they adjust flow and light for specific coral needs, dhey have more separation betwen LPS and SPS. Unfortunately i can't help you so much because i alao have a golden torch witch i don't think its full open. Maibe because of flow also. Follow

I have a golden torch which is perfectly fine, and pretty much right next to it I have a normal torch which is very temperamental and goes in and out.
