Hi Everyone,
Can you please help me with this question? I love and have few torches coral over 2 years now. They are thriving and splitting until the final stage where they about to completely physically split from one head to 2 heads (both head just touch a little). Exactly at this stage, some of the torches (not all torches) started to develop tissue recession or loosing tissue around the base then BJ took over and both heads died. The water condition and light are the same.
Can you please explain why it is happening. This happened at different occasions. It is painful to watch because I was really excited when it is splitting.
If I have multiples heads that are about to split, should I frag individually from preventing this from happening? Should I move to less light area?
Does this happen in the wild?
I kept losing heads and torches at the moment of time as I mentioned above. Thanks
