I have a torch that for reason is having isdues with one head. There's plenty of flesh still connected to two other heads, so just removing the head seems like a bad approach.
Should I just leave it, and let the head die?

Torches can. Be very temperamental. If it were me, I’d just leave it alone and monitor.
I wasn't worried about losing the head. It was already going to die without a doubt.
As you can see, the polyps are now complete dislocated from the head but still ataached to the healthy skeleton tissue.
