Tornado and my powerless tanks..

Hey guys finally went back to my moms to get on the net for a few minutes. Thank you all for the prayers and kind words. Our house is only a few miles from where it touched down and we were at the McDonalds only minutes before it ripped it to shreds. There were tornadoes and bad weather all day and we had a break in the action and ran to get something to eat. I actually looked into the eye of the workers and thought to myself what they would do if something were to hit. At the time the McDonalds was shaking and the wind was crazy so we hurried out of there. Just minutes later it looked like this:

Honestly I have a generator, but when this happens you don't really care. Sad to say but I didn't really care about my tank. I didn't even fire the generator up.

7 are confirmed dead in my town alone and over 50 dead in my area which is the Chattanooga Tn metro. :(

I am so blessed and thankful to God for protecting me and my family.

BTW my tanks are fine and everything is well with the power restored. Others will be without power for a week or more.

glad to hear everything is ok, prayers go out to the families of those who died..

So glad you're OK n tanks are too that's a plus. Sorry for what the south is going through. Maris folks live in northern MS they are OK aswell but a block away is gone.

God Bless all affected
Big Steve

Oh man I am so sorry.... But at least you're house wasn't hit. :\ Still, it is horrible to see so much devastation around you. My little sister's town was hit too, but luckily her house was missed also.

Do you have any battery powered airpumps? Or any of those car jumper external battery packs? Most of those have an AC plug in outlet on it so you can plug in something, in your case an airpump or small power head... But hopefully your tank will be ok without i. :\ Good luck man... Hope everything pulls through for you.

Edit: Should of read til the end of the thread. I see your tanks made it, that's awesome.

Hope everyone is well, I just got a generator powered up last night. Had to go north of Nashville to find one. They are saying could be a while before we get any power.

Venom, glad you are ok. In laws live off of Mooresville Rd and are OK too. Sis in Law lives off of Wall Triana and had one go 1/2 mile from the house. They are OK too but neither have power or water. Prayers to all.

Over here in Toronto, we've been getting rain almost everyday and on and off very strong winds that had some highways and bridges closed from traffic usage.

Again please take care and God Bless!!
