Trident sold out everywhere

Anyone know what is happening with the trident? My used one finally gave out on me and it looks like it is sold out everywhere. I haven't seen this much sold out since the peak days of covid.

Yup. Just spoke to a retailer. Apparently their box supplier didn't ship so they have no way to package. Units are sold out online practically everywhere.

Just speculation but I wonder if they are limiting production to try and sell the Trident NP.

It's not just the Trident. Other products of theirs are hard to find.

I don't see why they would do that as they don't test the same things.

Instead of new why wouldn't you just do the replacement program? My understanding is the unit doesn't even need to be working, just complete.
