Trident sold out everywhere

I think Neptune totally screwed this release up. 100 units of a product that they knew thousands of users wanted after 2 years of hype? I say BS. BRS sending out emails AFTER the few they had were sold out? I just lost all enthusiasm for this product.

I logged on to BRS 15 minutes before midnight just to be ready, but was surprised to see they had 60 available with the Add to cart button active. I jumped on it and placed my order. When I refreshed the page a minute later it said 44 in stock. Within 10 minutes they were gone.

I agree i usually don’t jump on the first version of things
Let other people test and work out the bugs

Wow crazy but expected with any electronic that is hyped up and released it just seems the natural thing people do sad but totally expected

Maybe you got lucky though these things are usually very buggy
It has been for two years i think they released a small amount to limit the returns etc it’s going to be tested on those people that did get it

I had a chance to get one but decided to wait but it just sold out there.
Same about holding out, not like I can not test the water. Wait and see how it works out.
The units look pretty cheaply built.

Honestly glad you caught it - love your build thread BTW. I woke up from my alarm at 1:57 thinking I was going to be the early bird at 2:00 sharp and opened my phone (was already logged on etc.) and it was at 7 in stock, by the time I put it in cart and checked out (tapping as fast as I could using all saved info) it was out of stock at click of final checkout. I am bummed it went live before midnight PST. I will continue to hunt for one until it comes out. I remain eager and excited.

They didn’t screw up the release. This is marketing at its best. Let a handful of people get it rave about it then release it again. So they don’t want a bunch of units sitting in the warehouse. Now they can gauge how many to make and put out. Just my little conspiracy theory.

My GHL has been awesome. Hopefully the Trident ends up being reliable as I know a lot of people have been waiting on this.
