I’ve got 4 nassarius and about 4 bumblebee snails, I’ve tried to introduce 1 trochus snail at 2 separate occasions now they’re dead and being eaten by the next day. Any idea why the trochus would keep dying but not the others?

Just for sample this has happened to me TWICE …
I got no answers, but like you just questions…following

Edit added: seems to be a difference with the red vs black trio his (or whatever) …could be coincidence but both times one type went all at once then the other…
I have few trochus anymore

bad batch/sourcing? old? improper acclimation?
also:

bumble bee snails could potentially go for smaller snails, and perhaps the trochus flipping over and not righting itself up could make the bumble bee's target them?

the nassarius snails could also eat the trochus snails after they died, or you have a nocturnal critter who likes eating trochus snails specifically.

Do you have any wrasses?

I found the solution for that by setting any Trochus on the glass. They Never fall from that position, they clean the glass, and they are away from predators. I also put them in the higher flat rocks or thé aquascape. None died afterward
