Hey all!!

So I’ve had my tank running for about 2~ months now, and just added a BTA, with plans to get some west Aussie RFAs as well. I really really want a tube nem, but my sandbed is problematic, only being about 1 inch deep. Would it still be possible to add one, I’ve seen them lay sideways before, or would it be best to leave it?

I really want one, but only want to get one if I can care for it adequately. I’ve seen them in shallow sand beds, just want to double check. Tank is a Waterbox 20. Also some dodgy tank photos and the new nem

Tube anemone are not really anemone. They are aggressive tube worm that extend a lot at night to capture prey. They sting the heck out of anything 8-12 inches around them.
You don’t want to keep one in a small tank like tour’s.

I’ve heard they’re aggressive, but I have a corner it can face that has nothing in it, only some xenia nearby. Plus my LFS only has a small one in stock.

Clearance space of about 1 foot from the anemone, so a small tank it is hard to give them that much real-estate.
