There are a lot of fish in this hobby that I feel are underrated for reef tanks, and I would love to see them showcased more often in the hobby. Below is a list of the fish that I think do well in most large reef tanks, or have great personalities. Please feel free to add more options in the comments to spread awareness.

Zebra bar Goby
Starry Blenny
Springeri Damsel
Talbots Damsel
Staghorn Damsel: Yellow
Splendid Dottyback
Red Cap Goby
Green-Banded Goby
Blue Eye tang
Short Tail Bristletooth Tang

There are obviously a lot more species I could add in but these were the ones that I thought of off the top of my head.

Starkii damsel was a very cool and super bright fish that I loved to see swimming around with my purple tang.
