i seem to have a problem no matter were i put my sps theres always seems to be no polyp extension on the underside should i just let it grow and eventually it will grow in

Find a spot where it looks the best and let it grow....the bottom doesn't get great lighting so it's going to look like doo doo compared to the top....at least that's unless the top looks like doo doo too!!!!!!

More flow might help a bit. But like the others said unless it spends half the time upside down it wont look like the top side.

That sounds pretty normal, Try and give it the best overall flow and light, all you can do...

Most of my SPS colonies are like that on the bottom... Once the light gets totally blocked, they'll usually die off....
