No idea where it came from. Should I remove it?

That little guy on the glass? I'm surprised it hasn't been eaten yet. I don't have a positive ID for you, but not one of the ones I worry about.
 
It looks like a human finger. My tank gets those too. Nothing to be alarmed about. They usually go away on their own.
