UNS 5N Planted Reef! The Macro Shoreline

Afternoon to all of you reefers out there! I am excited to announce a new build in the works!Tthe plan has been modified and tinkered with in the past couple months, but some pieces are finally coming together to form what I am hoping to create which will be called "The Macro Shoreline"

The scape will be littered with real live rock and macro algae to create a representation of a more natural environment.

I show off the tank and light for this weeks upload on my YouTube channel and wanted to share it here for the documentation of my build thread! Feel free to join in on my adventure in a new style of reefing and exciting new natural build for my place!

yeah I have ordered from KP a few times. going to soon once my new 650P is ready for some stuff.
I got 10# of LR from them a few years ago for my 20L macro tanks good stuff.

Takes me back to being a little kid and all excited for my first saltwater build! Just waiting on some more pieces and still need to finalize idea for live rock..

I will say this has been one of my favorite tanks I have EVER had! A new style of reefing and honestly a completely different aesthetic! Wanted to update you all with a couple things here.. First off I added a very intersting and unique fish to the tank... check it out!




Secondly, I have added a sweet snail guard to the ATO so I don't run into another terrible flooding situation in this tank... a story for another day..

Here is a shot of the tank post trimming and cleaning from last night, and the Macro Shorelines in all its glory today! Cheers!
