Hi all, I’m having a UNS R90 delivered and installed this week. Planning to post here as I progress. This is my second reef aquarium since getting into the hobby in 2020. I had a Red Sea 180, which had a bad crash about 18 months ago. I started up a small observation tank for frags and fish about a year ago. I moved a few months ago so figured it was time to start fresh.
First things first, I’m posting my ideas about an aquascape. I’m planning to do lps dominant with some sps and a small zoa island. I wanted to focus on different levels while also leaving plenty of hiding room and swimming space for fish. I’m also leaving at least a few inches around everything for flow and maintenance. When I was planning on restarting the 180L, I bought one of the Caribsea life rock trees, but I’m supplementing with dry rock (and hoping they eventually will look pretty similar . . .).
I welcome any thoughts on the aquascape. Planning to add an equipment breakdown later this week.
Thanks!
