I have 26 tangs and two cleaner shrimp and they go up to shrimp always as shrimp set up cleaning station. Havent had disease in many years. Its a natural instinct
I agree it is natural instinct to go to Cleaner Shrimp. But I will revise my statement to say that fish will go to Cleaner Shrimp when something is irritating them and not exclusively Parasites. I have 2 mature Cleaner Shrimps in my DT and have never once seen my Fish posture for cleaning even when the Shimp's attempt to.

Even in the while eels, and groupers will go up to them. Its a natural instinct and again in total I have at least 48 fish and they all visit the cleaners and some cleaner wrasse who they often chase away, This has been going on for years and often for many and they dont itch or twitch or have gotten ill.

MinnFinn is an excellent broad spectrum treatment that is Reef Safe. For an infection or for mechanical damage it will eliminate pathogens and also sanitize wounds preventing infection. It can also be used as topical treatment for any isolated lesions.

Sorry, I understand you have some stake in that product, but as an oxidizer, any level that would “sanitize wounds” would also damage the tank’s nitrifying bacteria.
