so ive tossed around an idea of getting my girl a tank in the past, i got into reefing right around the time we started dating. so ive talked with her about getting a 3g pico and start a lil reef tank.. but im not going to be at her house enough to take care of it and i doubt she will keep up with it.. so i decide to start a fresh water pico and throw some glow fish in there with maybe some neon rocks.. she has a couple black lights in her room so i thought about placing this up on top of her desk and mounting that black light above the desk on the wall. she has no idea im getting her this.. but her bday is the 16th, idk when im going to give it to her yet though...
any suggestions on the tank, display, set up...
how long do these lil tanks need to cycle for just a few glow fish?
i know im not the only person to ever do this... lol anybody with some experience in "glowing ur fish" haha
