Woohoo...booked my trip to Vegas today for last week of August, beginning of Sept for the VMworld Conference :)

Never been to Vegas, so I'm excited, especially since its company paid :) Stay at Caeser's :)

Freaking AWESOME - I have only been twice but it was a great time. Caesars is really nice and has a killer sports betting room with TV's from ceiling to floor!! Ive stayed at the Rio and palazzo...Palazzo rocked!! Any plans besides the conference?

meh..... it's nothing special....i only wish i had that feeling when i heard the word vegas.... being born and raised here i hate this place!!!!!! sucks to i will never exp. like any one of you i just see it as a place to work, i avoid the strip like the plauge and will never take my family there it's bad now like a freak show lol.... just the other day i had to go hang some signs at the mgm and i saw 2 spidermans, a spongebob, jason "friday the 13th" and a guy in a bikini with a thong "thought it was mike but he was to tall" dancing for money......:sad:

That sucks Troy - I mean i tend to take my location for granted too...People come on vacation down here all the time and i barely go to the beach...When i go i'm like ""I need to go more...i love it!" Okay might not be a good example for you but if you were a gambling man or single...i would think you would be singing a different tune!! :wink:

I gambled from the day I turned 21 it took me 2 years to realize you lose!!!!!! I was bad lol... Now I'm lucky to drop a 20$ a month I would rather buy corals then walk away with nothing....;)

Well I mean you have to at least try it in Vegas. Not like I gamble much... but you're in Vegas!

Haha, funny Troy. Its exciting for me, especially since everything is paid for ;)

I have quite a bit of travel coming up, so it should be fun...much better than being in the office. I'm in Johnson City, TN next week...Plano, TX(Dallas) the following week, and then back to Johnson City, TN the following week. I'll also be in Orlando for vacation the week of July 10 or something like that.

I think Vegas is a great place to live. Always something to do, concerts, long riding season with many scenic places within a few hours, festivals and of course gambling. Viva Las Vegas

... LOVE the pool at the palace!! You should try to check out the botanical exhibit at the Bellagio (right next door to Ceasars) it is usually amazing! I love all the people watching, Venice Beach is real good for it too!

BtKrausen - You going with anyone?? If so i would suggest a show...there are some great shows out there. I saw Jersey Boys and it was an awesome show. Also Circus Du Soleil and comedians are other good venues!!

Blue man group has been my favorite show in Vegas.... It's cool like Rick said but I really want to exp the wow factor you guys get.... I will never have that here... I don't know anything but Vegas it's home....;) let's just say Vegas is really convenient... Lol almost everything is open 24/7 wallmart, grocery stores, casinos etc...

Yeah, just some coworkers who are just as anxious to check out the town. Should make for an exciting trip.
