Tube worm. Harmless and uses the fan to capture food. If you want to starve it- direct water flow towards it, not at it and it cant eat OR break off the tube at the Base and get rid of it

Are tube worms super invasive or somewhat beneficial?

Filter feeders so you could say beneficial. Invasive theyre not but can multiply
