Just finished reading the 11 pages, your tank is really coming along. I hope your dog is doing much better.

You are welcome. The tank and wall cabinet really look great. The little magnet holes struck me as funny, like something I may not have thought of at all. Clever.
Thanks. the holes give us little wiggle room for placement, but I found that spot to be the best spot for any power head. They will be covered in black so the light does not shine thru.

my acrylic tank is giving me trouble...scratches. it seems the work my husband is putting into it really fixes some & makes new. I have googled, you tubed and sanded and buffed. does any body got some magic advise to share?

I'm not sure what he is doing but keeping everything very clean is important. If using a power buffer, the pad needs to be changed out frequently and washed.

thanks. I think the hardest part is that he has done it twice already. lol. you pretty much have to work on it upside down, with a board digging into hour waist/hips. I get why he does not want to work on it any more...I have been checking out all my friends at work, trying to judge if they are small enough to fit in my tank... I am feeling so discouraged about this tank though. sledge hammer anybody?

Well, I am glad no one handed me a sledge hammer.

Thank you for noting my update. The tank is already improved. I am trying not to get too excited but it looks like we maybe hit that sweet spot in the areas he worked on.

There was a video a while back .... sleif (from RC) on Mr. SaltWater Tank maybe .... where he buffed out his tank while full with a magnet cleaner.
