Hey, welcome to my rant. I don't even know where to start. This isn't to bash anyone, I'm just ticked that the company I ordered from left me hanging and I had to figure it out myself.
I ordered a coral from this company last Monday. They texted me to see when I wanted my shipment and I told them Wednesday would be fine. Then they asked if I wanted it shipped to the Walgreens by my house. I was like, alright, that's new never had a live animal pickup from Walgreens. They gave me this spiel about not wanting it sitting in the truck that long and how Walgreens would be great.
Wednesday comes and tracking says delivery by 10:30am. At 10:13am I get a message from FedEx: package refused at Walgreens. Now I'm like, ****, what do I do it's 90+ degrees in Florida.
First thing I did was contact the shipper. Never heard back. So I contacted FedEx and they're asking me why I shipped it there. I told them the company I bought from said it was a better idea. They tell me I have to wait until 6:00pm to pick it up.
Went and got my package, opened it up, and the coral looked like ****. The bags looked like they had air in them at some point but they were deflated. No packing slip, nothing in the box saying what I got.
I've been in the hobby 10 years. I've ordered plenty of coral from different sites and never had one die on me always delivered straight to my house. The messed up part is this company is well known. I contacted them and got nothing. I've been taking pictures from the day I got it until today, and the flesh is just sliding off my chalice now.
Oh yeah, it's a Cosmic Candy bounce chalice, and no, I didn't get it from WWC if I had, I wouldn't be sitting here typing this.
At this point I'm just letting it ride. Can't do anything, can't contact the seller since it's past their 6–8 hour arrival window.
Moral of the story: don't ship your corals to Walgreens, lol.
Thanks CB for never answering
