Yup.

Tired of it. :)

Working on improving that :) I am lucky that I have an unused corner of the basement directly below my tank. It is being converted to a rodi water station, kalkwasser ato station, and moving all my dosing equipment down there. When that is done, I am going to add a saltwater mixing/pumping station so I never have to haul a bucket again! I suspect I will do water changes far more often if I don't have to pull the bucket brigade act everytime :)

Cheers!

I just finished my mixing station last night. I have a tee on the discharge of my DT pump so I can take water out. I still have to run a hose inside to fill the tank until we move into our new house and I can plumb a drain and a fill line in.

Day before yesterday I picked up a big brute garbage on wheels, drilled a small hole in the side near the top and installed a float valve from a furnace humidifier. I tee'd off my rodi to a ball valve, and then hooked it up to the float valve. Now I will always have 100 liters or rodi "on tap". This way I can open the ball valve, and let the can fill through the humidifer float valve, I don't have to watch it. Next day I close the ball valve so if the float valve screws up, it won't flood. I picked up a second (smaller) garbage can for kalkwasser ATO. I marked off levels at 5, 10, 15, & 20 gallons. I put a small pond pump with a hose in the rodi container, now when I want to make top up water, I flip on the pump in the rodi storage bin and fill the ato can, add a cup of kalkwasser and I am done :) I put another small fountain pump in the ato bin for mixing. I made 20 gallons of kalk ato water in about 60 seconds today...it was awesome :)

Cheers!

I have the same redundant safety on my RO/DI bin withe the float valve and a ball valve!
