How much do you do and how often? What kind of water, tap, RO, ect.? How long do you have it mixed up ahead of time?

10% water change once a week.

Instant Ocean salt [supplemented with Prestone Driveway Heat (calcium chloride), MAGflake (magnesium chloride), and Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate)] dissolved in RO/DI water and mixed with a powerhead overnight. Sometimes I only mix it for a few hours.

every other week I do 10% water changes two days apart with RODI water mixed for two days with air slurping powerhead. I have 300g in the system so this is what size batches work for me, and everything always looks happier after the 2nd change probably because I blast my rocks on the first change and change my filter socks just before the second one.

I "try" to do a 10%-15% water change once a month.. but if I suspect any issues with the tank, I remedy with more frequent water change, probably increase the frequency by 2-3/month.. :)

I haven't done a water change in 2 1/2 - 3 months.. yikes! but everything looks better.. :hammer:

I have a 29 gallon tank and I try to change 15% every week so it's about 4 gallons. I use Instant Ocean with the addition of Magnesium powder. Bring it up to temp and salinity and let it mix anywhere from 2 hours to a day.

Everything looks nice and happy after waterchanges.

This is what I do, a 10 to 15% change once a week using instant ocean, because I have mainly softies. I am still having some pouting, but nothing dieing. I can not figure it out it is starting to really upset me. I have done water changes. I tested for everything but alk. and cal., because I do not have them test kits. everything test fine. I love this hobby so much I have been praying for the corals. GOD made them so I figured he would want them to stay beautiful.
salinity 1.025
ph 8.2
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 0
temp 76-78
I have 4-65 watt PC's

How big is your tank? I'm just trying to get a feel for the amount of light you have going in.
