Can you eliminate the sandbed being kicked up as a cause

Precipitation chemically is possible

Good thing about a 15 gal is we can just mix up new batch and change the whole system 90% water change

As long as the temp and salinity match it's no big deal, we do this all the time in nanos at nr.com

What salt are you using? I was having that problem with IO. Everytime I did a water change my water would be cloudy for a few days. It would clear up eventually but it was quite annoying. Since I switched salts the issue has gone away.

Are you mixing your water and salt and adding it immediately ? My saltwater looks better if I mix it and let it circulate a few hrs. Just a thought
