What im wondering is what should be the distance from the water line to the bottom of the top trim be? Is it personal preference or a usual set number. I know this depends where the top of the overflow box sits as to how it will be determined. Just looking to see if there is a set distance when installing one

I set mine just above the bottom of where the canopy overhangs, I really don't like seeing the water line. and yes I believe it's personal preference.

OK i have mine set at about 1/2inch above the bottom of the top trim. I didn't know if it was too high/ low. I don't like seeing the water line either. Thanks
