Water mites?

This was on the glass today in the overflow. I often record videos of the little life as well as the big. This is something I’ve never seen before in any of my tanks over the years. Is this just a water mite or something worse? Toward the end you can see it next to an isopod for a size reference.

It could be since the picture shows the underside of it. It seems to me that these are algae eaters. Hopefully I can get one under a scope and get a picture. Methinks that once coralline takes over in my cube these will die off/get eaten. I am all for diversity but not of the harmful sort. Thank you.
