I’m a brand new waterbox owner, who is recently put together the basic piping per the poor instructions. Waterbox has provided recently decided to move my tank (all pre full setup) and found that I could no longer remove. The hand tightened return line nozzles.

I’m terrified of damaging them with plumbing-based tools, and tried to purchase a few thin wrenches to see if I could loosen them with no luck.

Does anybody have any advice on how I can get these detached safely? This is a brand new tank. I find it utterly insane that this somehow locked.

Biggest concern would a wrench slipping and hitting the glass. Use a small wrench on the internal pipe, then use a small strap wrench on the external fitting. If you don’t have a strap wrench, a channel locks with a washcloth the protect the fitting.
