I need recommendations for a wave maker for a 36G bow front.

I’m still pretty new to the hobby but I don’t mind spending a little more for better quality. Maybe around $200.

All are adjustable flow, have different patters of flow or just a constant speed. I have a Nero and the hygger on my tanks. Love them. Will be buying the jump soon

Just one more question if you don’t mind. Do I need more than one flow pump or will just one of these work?

In that size tank one will be plenty. Both of the aqua illumination will have to be turned down. But when you up size you will be ready. I run two Niro 5 on a 75 and run @75% on both

Thank you so much for your replies.

I promise one last question. What do you use for a battery backup? I think I’ve decided on the Nero 3 but I’m getting conflicting information on what to use for a battery backup.

The highest reviewed one on bulk reef supply's website is the Octopulse. By a large margin. I have one and it's great. Quiet, lots of flow (controllable) and it has a large degree of rotation in all directions with it's concave magnetic mount.

I love my octopulses as well.

Just a quick note:
My AI Nero 5 won't run on 12V so I use a DC buck boost converter to run 24V to Nero from 12V battery.
*will stop there but may be something to keep in mind

Good morning, op had a 200.00 budget, from what I see those may be out of his budget.

Doesn't mean we can't suggest better and let the OP decide. Sometimes budgets flex when we decide we like a certain feature or spec. And there is always the option of buying used.
