I’m curious as to what that white “webbing” is to the right of the mushroom. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Awesome. I have some other sponges in the tank, but they’re more round and “fluffy”. I’ve never seen any that spider web like that.

Ok, another couple of quick questions. The red algae behind the sponge. Is that coralline or cyano? I believe it’s coralline, but I’m second guessing myself.

2nd question is the black on my live rock to the right. I’ve had this rock for 6 or 7 years now and the black has never gone away or gotten any bigger, so I don’t think it’s harmful, but I’d still like to know what it is.

Can’t comment on the back but the red looks like coralline

Well coralline is hard and shouldn’t come off like cyano if you pick at it. And maybe the black is just the color of the rock?
