Weird Sand Clumps

Hey y'all,

So for about a month, I've had these weird clumps of sand that honesty look like kitty litter leftovers (assuming, I don't have a cat, haha). When I've pulled them out and sprayed them down, there's nothing inside, just some clear goop between them.

This has happened when I've had an anemone die in the past, but that's been a bit so I'm a bit at a loss. They seem harmless, but I'm curious as to what's causing them. Any thoughts?

if this is the same tank as your build thread - it looks like the tank is only a few months old? If so, check out this thread on clumping sand and newer systems:
