Well... Hi :)

Hi guys and gals,

my name is Mathias (but usually everyone calls me Matze), I'm 24 years old and live in Germany.
I started reefing in 2012 with a 420l mixed reef tank. I developed a deep love for SPS(especially plating acroporas) and the quirlyness of a living reef.

I upgraded 2015 to a 225g display tank with external sump and a refugium in bypass mode.

Sadly in the end of 2015 the tank crashed due to a heavy metal poisenning.

I redid the whole system and restarted it 4 weeks ago. To never have to deal with something of that kind, I now run the Triton Methode. My goal is a SPS heavy reef with a good amount of fish in there, too.

My other hobbies are photography, reading and... Bigfoot :)
Okay, maybe I'm a little nuts;)

I'm happy to be here and excited to get to know as many of you as possible.
