What’s On My Duncan?!

I need some help identifying what this is growing on my duncan, it’s been making it look very sad and scraggly. Thank you!

Hard to tell from the pic. I'm thinking the bubble coral could irritating the duncan.

That’s the best picture I could get. It looks brown in color. The bubble coral when fully extended doesn’t touch it, I may do some rearranging to see if that’s it, but would it cause it to turn brown on the stalk like that? Almost looks like something is growing on it
