I just found out my flame hawkfish looks bloated and pale. I know they’re not a good swimmer but now sometimes he would swim up and land on its side then get up slowly.

he still kinda of eat. I don’t have a quarantine system. What should I do? Can I dip it with prazipro or somethjng?

I will take better pictures if he moves

thanks

make a qt system, buy one as part of the requisite reefing purchases like a light or a heater, to save future fish.

run qt, fallow the main tank with the long version + higher temps to start oppositely for round 2

there are home depot tote QT options, 30 gallon empty tanks bought from petco options/ all creative. before placing meds in tank follow the ID protocols from the disease forum/match the treatment ideally. this thread needs to be in the disease forum.

You can actually put Prazi right into the display. I'm not sure that Prazi is the right med without some more info, as it's just for worms/flukes. Is that what you suspect?

Or do you suspect something else? How long have you had the fish? Any trouble breathing? Any spots on the fish?

Got him from a friend and he’s being in the tank for close to a year. No white spots but looks pale compare to before. I had a nem died couple days ago. I removed it, changed about 40% water and ran carbon.
