My eheim has something similar but it didn't work as well as that appears to. Wish I would have had one of those!

Is this a siphon hose holder or something?

Well can be used for that or when I pump in saltwater in from 55 gallon containers when im changing, I always have my son hold the hose,Now i don't have to pay him .lol

and 3 bucks its cheap

"Son, you've been replaced by a small, Chinese piece of plastic."

LOL

How much do you pay your son?

Good advice is worth alot to him..That's his pay , well he has a room and eats too..
.but usually hes not around when i start to do water changes(funny how he disappears then)
my daughter has more interest in the tank then him and shes only 11...

My son is 9 and has no interest in my tank.
I've even let him pick out fish and occasionally he will stop by to see how his fish is doing.

mine is 14,he picked out fish but when i had my carpet nem and it ate his 5 inch blue hippo ,he really dont like the tank now
and get this he is wanting to be a marine biologist...

I just use my magnetic nori clip for my tang. It holds the hose just fine for those 10 minutes or so.

where do you buy the plastic hose clamp?
