Well it looks like it has been about 100 days since I started this thread. I have changed so much. Happy to say it was all worthwhile! I feel like I changed everything. The corals are really looking good. Dormant corals have started growing and I see colors that I have never seen. The WD is picking up steam and the branches are getting fuller with polyps (not really hairy yet, but getting there).
The quick version of what I did.
-Got salinity back in line - bad refraction fluid
-Lowered DKH from 12.5 to 8ish
-Lowered phosphate from .25 down to below .1
-Less quantity of food, but more often
-Removed GFO/Phosguard
-New T5s (different spectrum)
-More regimented amino/coral food dosing
-Better tank clean up - more often
-Raised temp from 75 to 80 degrees
-Dosing MicroBacter 7
-New gyres in all tanks for better flow
-Started turning off pumps for feeding
I know I did more but this off the top of my head. Thanks for all the advice!!!
Cheers! Mark

Do you believe the elevated levels of tin from your ICP test contributed to any of this?
I really dont know. I do know a lot of ICP tests come back with elevated tin. I was using about 20 metal spring clamps to hold the netting on the top. I removed them and made new screen clamps out of ABS. I also found a couple of small pieces of metal in the tanks. I think a lot of the issue was neglect, high alk, high phosphate (.26) and bad spectrum on one of the fixtures.
Cheers! Mark

Good luck and keep us posted. I am going through something similar and my ICP test revealed my tin was at 5. I'm doing water changes to combat. I will send another ICP test off in a month or so. Good Luck!
