According to Ai fwiw here’s an explanation.. most of this was taken from Aqua forest website! It seems to play a role with iodine of all things lol.

The only thing I’ve truly witnessed change colors on my sticks is lighting for what it’s worth.

I was def asleep lol… I’ll keep the apple cider vinegar for my smoked meats.. distilled vinegar for cleaning my top off sensors and bacto balance for carbon source.

We do… we’re currently on daylight savings time.. Arizona stays on daylight but Utah and Hawaii stay on standard.. they are trying to pass a bill currently to keep us on standard time which I think aligns with Alaska.

Your all knowed up on daylight saving, you ship allot around the country or ? They keep saying the going to get rid of it here, as really makes no sense. We are in the dark all winter long and in the light all summer, so theres really no electric being saved. Which is why they started it to begin with I guess.

Not sure why we change time and I hate it! If I had my choice I’d stay on daylight savings but hey.. my fish hate the change the dogs hate the change etc etc.. the sun rises and falls every day and nobody knows the time changed but our clocks! Makes zero sense to me lol.. it’s crazy how the fish and any animal for that matter has internal clocks and they know! I can tell you every day when it’s 6am or 6pm as my dogs start getting annoying because it’s breakfast time or dinner time lol.. same with the fish! When the time changes and it’s dark my wrasses and gobies are like huh?!? They freak out to hide in the sand.

They were gone in 3 days after putting a uv online.. I haven’t had a problem since but the uv is still running lol..
