Either the Fire Shrimp my wife wanted, or the 2 new emeralds I got. I have a third emerald but he’s pretty shy. The 2 new ones are all over the place

Don’t mind the sand, at the end of a diatom bloom. And I haven’t been able to snap a good pic yet of the emeralds. That stupid green film algae driving me crazy on that wall. Gets a little daylight there. I scrub it every couple days. Hoping the new Trochus snails take care of it. That and I’m gonna start running GFO too when I do heavy maintenance tomorrow

Do urchins "decorate" themselves intentionally or do they accidentally pick things up? I ordered a bumblebee shrimp yesterday to add to the group! I will post a picture when it comes in.

Intentionally. Mine picks items up sporadically.

I used to have a lettuce nudibranch but it kept getting sucked into our hob filter. That would probably be my favorite. After her, I’d say my cowrie. They are such weird creatures.

I think you have inspired me to get an urchin however I'm concerned it will wreak havoc in my small 15 gallon display.

Just get a smaller one. If you have loose frags it will probably move them, but they're a very cool addition.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
