What are your other hobbies?

I'm big into everything guitar, I own 5 electric and an acoustic. I've played for 16 years, not so much now that I work 11 hours a day, and do maintenance work on them in what little spare time I have. I've completely rebuilt my first guitar and am in the process of building a guitar from scratch.
I also love doing woodworking. I'm really getting into making pens on the lathe I made myself and I made the stand for my reef tank.
Other hobbies include: hiking, stargazing, astrophotography, shooting at the range, and playing magic the gathering

Wow! That is an impressive setup!! It's amazing to see what the fine folks on this forum do besides aquatic boxes. Haha!

Just 6,000 watts of loud when needed for smaller outdoor shows....Lots of those here in FLA. Not too many indoor clubs that have bands around here and plenty of rockstar quality for the indoor karaoke and DJ gigs...Oh and most of the neighbors can't hear much when we do band practice at my house....8 inch double walls with insulation (wall on the inside and wall on the outside) soundproofing, rock band loud on the inside, quite radio volume on the outside about 8 feet away...
Hoping for the side fun to pick up,,,,I have to fund a new big reef tank......

A few other things I enjoy: fishing (deep sea and light action as well) camping , off roading, hanging at family cabin/ ranch Playing on tractors gators and more , bee keeping (until the bears ate them..) hanging with my cats (lol) exploring nature. Here’s some random pics

Producing reef related videos, music (making it and listening to it), photography, FPV Drones and collective helis, collecting rocks and minerals, Bushcraft, Camping, Bicycling, backpacking / hiking and the two new hobbies are Model Rockets and RC crawler TRX4 build for this coming winter.

LOL!! You'll probably grow up healthier without a phone. You'll keep your eyesight, your fingers and your upper neck/back area. Most of us are now vision impaired, have a permanent curve in our necks/upper backs and have finger joint issues. Haha. Actually I did read a legit scientific paper studying the effects of phone use in younger people and supposedly a lot are developing a weird bone spur at the base of the neck (at the back). Obviously the neck is not meant to be kept in a lowered/hunkered position for any great length of time so to compensate these weird bone spurs are developing to support the neck in this position. Could mean that people who develop this might not be able to keep their heads up down the road. Kind of scary!!

3D Printing and Drone racing - Both of which are more expensive than I would like. Although the drone racing is getting cheaper the better I get and less often I crash.

Tell me reefers, is it just reefkeeping or are you into other hobbies?!

I find it interesting that I share some random things in common with most of my fellow fishkeeper friends.. and I also find that a lot of the same people are very busy people lol.

I’m into a million hobbies. Some I’m not really sure are hobbies, and I’m new to reef keeping but we’ll say it counts.. but for me personally:
- Horses, I’ve ridden since I was 5 years old, always have always will, competitively and just for fun. My horse Sammy is 24 yrs old and I’ve had him for 17 years!
- Skiing - every winter, any weekend that I can!
- Dogs.. I love dogs. And cats, but mostly dogs. I compete my aussie in agility and go to AKC trials several times a year.
- Painting, drawing, sketching.. any kind of art really.. I love projects and new crafty things to work on
- Rally racing. Cars in general. I take my STi to the track every once and a while! I’ve also never owned an automatic vehicle lol.
- Kayaking, hiking, camping, boating, all the outdoorsy things.. we do it.
- ball pythons.. not so much any more (no time for it) but we had a really cool breeding pair and sold several clutches! Only have the lone male now.

I’m sure there’s more, but reefing is my newest hobby.. but I’m crazy and like to keep busy. :) what about you?

Avid fisherman. Catch and release only unless it's a sheep head, tuna or yellow, then it's taco time

And lastly I'm a HMB (historic Medieval Battle) Fighter it's like MMA but with medieval armor and weapons (full steel weapons) I also larp but that's more of a training for the steel stuff
