what color are your PC rainbows?

Everyones got cool colors! My red isnt as deep, its more pale red with a green and gold base so i think i put it too high up but its encrusted so much its too late.

its growing new branches like crazy i see a daily difference though!

Your colors are more similar to mine, although yours has cups for the polyps like a normal acro... mine is growing weird and smooth

Mine was bright green and didn’t grow for a long time then it finally colored up and started growing

I just noticed something, my acro seems rather..... smooth... I know I got it from a reputable seller and I trust what it is but mine doesnt have the like cups that hold the corallites, theres a few but most branches are just smooth and covered in polyps like a monti would be

I know this thread is a couple years old, but hoping you are still around and can give an update as mine has been pretty similar.

This is mine after 7 months of growth under radion g5 pros running AB+ for 9 hours a day with roughly an hour ramp up and down.

As you can see, its mostly red/brown with a green/yellow base. Is this coloration normal?

and here it is 7 months ago when I first got it.

I think maybe this needs just a little more light. Have you tested PAR? Maybe a bit more nutrients?

Color looks a little deeper now. Seems to be almost as happy in 284 as 400’s.
