Definitely matters. I think it all depends on the scape and the whole idea of the tank. Also depends on the location in the house, and what color the walls are.

That is an amazingly clean setup; and goes so well with it's surroundings. Do you have it setup with your heater in-line with your return plumbing? How do you like the display flow with the closed-loop pump setup? It sure cleans up the tank appearance, not having side-mounted flow pumps.

I'm currently in the works downsizing from my 65 gallon to a 22 gallon Mr Aqua. l will be installing a closed loop for flow using the OM flow diverter, so there will be no pumps visible in the tank.
