Actually, do check your actual reject ratios. Actually easure them. Most RO units are barely running at 1:7 when new...far worse with a bit of age. It takes a fresh, high quality membrane and pressure to get better rations, my friend(s).
Most importantly, test the TDS of your reject water versus your product water. It will vary somewhat wildly for folks again pending quality of unit, membrane, pressure, etc...but I think you will be very suprirsed to see the results. if you opt to post your results here, please provide the aforementioned params (RO model, membrane age, etc)
