Its now time for me to start pulling more nutrients out of my water. What do you all think and why?

Brandon

I say try an ATS so I can figure out if I need to get one too! What are your initial thoughts on trying?

Being that you have a garage filtration setup I would do a massive ATS of epic proportions

Thanks, guys. ATS it is. :)

Now to figure out which size to build... I don't feed a whole lot, so I won't need too much.

Brandon

I feed two pinches of flake,an about 20 pellets, 3 sinking wafers daily, plus Mysis every other day. My ATS is about 9"X9" and has 500GPH on a vertical screen. Nothing seems to grow algae as well as a 23W cfl with a big reflector. My nitrates are zero consistently.

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm hoping to do a fair amount of research and design this weekend. :)

Brandon

I was running both pellets and an ATS for a little while on my old 110. Saw no ill effects, or algae growth in the tank would have bouts with cyano every so often. Can't day with certainty if they were caused by either.

I had them both running off of my return manifold.
