Been doing it or 15 years myself and I still love it but making very close to 6 figures helps and working in nova
I'm not making anything close to that, where I live I don't think it's possible to make that much as a tech, the industry is too flooded and people work for nothing and companies are giving jobs away.

I'm a B.E.M. for the us postal service ! Building Equipment Mechanic mostly hvac side but we do a little of everything electrical up to 600 volts ,plumbing ,general Maintenance Mechanic stuff . My wife works in federal law enforcement at a federal prison and we are D.I.N.K.S (duel income no kids) LOL that's how I can afford it.

Sorry may be speaking out of turn but I took this with a tinge of sarcasm to speak to how expensive our hobby is, not that we will actually stop.. :-) I'm sure we all would be saving tons of money if we switched to knitting.. haha

Have you ever looked up the prices on high end yarn? You won't save that much.

Work for Baxter medical as a clinical specialist for CRRT in ICU's. Been a nurse 5 years, worked ICU, ER, Trauma, teach at university and colleges, contract work for program development. Before that I was a financial advisor - had it's perks but hated it.
There are so many varied experiences and careers here, a nice dynamic group of people!

I am new here, but not to reefing! I am a project manager for a union, commercial plumbing company! We do lots of hospitals, schools, plants... the big stuff. I'm pretty new but I love it so far!
