Just curious what everyone feeds their fish and Corals, how much, and how often.
I feed my fish at least twice a day, which includes a random combination of Rod's Food, Artic Pods, and PE mysis. Usually a 1" x 1" chuck of rods, and 2-4 table spoons of artic pods. Tangs are fed 1-2 full sheets of sushi grade nori a day when i remember.
I have all intentions of getting a good auto feeder (like Alex has) that will feed a small amount of spectrum pellets 3-4 times a day.
Corals are fed whatever the fish miss, and then are weekly spot fed with PE mysis, a sand storm of frozen cyclopeze & rotifers, and the extra large LPS like my elegance, and rhyzos are fed large chunks of silver sides.
My anemone tank is heavily fed, every two days.
My rock anemone and RBTA split a 3"+ silverside, and my Carpet anemone gets a full large silverside 2-3 times a week.
Also, something ive gotten in the habit of is completely slamming the tank with every food i have available about a half hour before a large water change. The filter sock pulls out any that doesn't get consumed, and its not in the system long enough to hurt anything. This seems to have had some excellent results.
